Education and Materials

Billings First United Methodist Church is a Grow, Pray, Serve community of faith.  In growing together in Christ's love and God's service, we select study materials from many sources.  For example, Wednesday's small group has used both using Rick Warren's The Purpose-Driven Life and John Ortberg's The Life You've Always Wanted to guide their study.  Thursday morning's group, The Seekers, uses The Adult Bible Study series from Cokesbury Publishing.  The series will encompass the entire Bible in six years, changes quarterly, and features a different theme and author each quarter.  This quarter's theme is God's Living Covenant

I am no longer my own, but thine. Put me to what you will. Rank me with whom you will. Put me to doing; put me to suffering. Let me be employed for thee or laid aside for thee, exalted for thee or brought low for thee. Let me be full. Or let me be empty. Let me have all things. Or let me have nothing. I freely and heartily yield all things to thy pleasure and disposal. Amen
-John Wesley
